DescriptionJoin the Prescott Valley Public Library as our Adult Services Librarian and help create meaningful opportunities for adults in our community to learn, connect, and engage. We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-minded library professional who can develop engaging programs, connect patrons with information and resources, support collection development, and build relationships within the community. Examples of Duties
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
- Oversee and manage Adult Services, including budget tracking, purchasing, collection development, programming, and training and coaching staff.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver adult programs, classes, and special events based on community interests and needs.
- Collaborate with other library departments to coordinate services, programs, projects, and library-wide initiatives.
- Use data, community feedback, and professional best practices to evaluate and improve Adult Services collections, programs, and services.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills while effectively managing multiple priorities.

Typical Qualification
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in library science or a closely related field, and
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a public library
Supplemental Information
COMPENSATION:
The Town's complete compensation package includes salary, benefits, and a high-performance culture. The Town package includes a health, dental, and vision insurance plan, participation in the state retirement system, optional 457 deferred compensation with a town match up to 6%, vacation, holidays, and additional comprehensive benefits.
The expected hiring range is $68,525-$73,000
The full hourly range is $68,525 - $102,787
Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.
