    The Department of Social Services Director’s Office and the Division of Legal Services (DLS) are looking for a Fiscal Liaison to join our team in the Division Director Unit, located in Cole County.

    Annual Starting Salary: The current rate for this position is $87,282.62 (commensurate with experience). I ndividual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).

    Job Location: The position is located at the Broadway State Office Building; 221 West High Street, Suite 230, Jefferson City, Missouri .

    Scheduled Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

    The DSS Director’s Office and the Division of Legal Services (DLS) have an opportunity for a fiscal liaison who will act as a crucial bridge between the Division of Finance and Administrative Services, the Director’s Office, and the division to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.

    What you’ll do: As Fiscal Liaison, you will work directly with the Division Director, Deputy Division Director, and administrative professionals managing budgets, grants and financial reporting for the division. The duties of this position include budget oversight, financial quality assurance and compliance, accounts payable and accounts receivable, supervision of an administrative support professional and implementation of financial policies and procedures. This position will work closely in coordination with Human Resources and the Division of Finance and Administrative Services to develop and monitor comprehensive budget and grants spend plans to guide fiscal and administrative activities supporting operations.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
