- Assists in the management of the Child Care Health Consultation (CCHC) Program grant award, which includes guidance, fiscal tracking, and oversight of program/deliverable requirements.
- Provides technical assistance and training to Local Public Health Agencies (LPHAs) who are CCHC Program grant recipients.
- Conducts annual financial monitoring of CCHC Program grant recipients.
- Maintains compliance with rules, regulations, and policies related to the CCHC Program, and assists with required program data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Maintains compliance with rules and regulations regarding the CCHC Program’s federal funding sources of the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) and Title V Maternal Child Health Block Grant (MCH)
- Responsible for tracking CCHC Program grant award recipients’ grant awards, budget worksheets, and budget revisions.
- Receive, review, and approve invoices for the CCHC Program, including monitoring of spend-down funds of the programs and follow up on any issues.
- Assist CCHC Program Coordinator in the development or revision of program forms, program monitoring, reporting mechanisms, and operating procedures to improve program efficiency.
- Attend local, regional, and statewide meetings pertaining to the CCHC Program.
- Assist with updating CCHC approved trainings and provide guidance to CCHC Program trainers on the use of the Missouri Professional Development (MOPD) System and maintain familiarity of MOPD training policies and requirements.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Department staff and other state and local agencies.
- Ability to communicate and express ideas effectively, orally and in writing, including public presentations.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with office staff, departmental staff, and other agencies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in nursing, education, child development, social/human services, human development and family studies, nursing, health sciences, health education, or other related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
OR - Four or more years of experience in public health and/or providing health services to the early childhood population, professional or technical experience in providing social/human services; elementary/early childhood education; project management or contract management.
