Clean Water & Beyond Be part of the "Utility of the Future" JOB SUMMARY: King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) – Your Clean Water Utility is seeking a motivated individual with a high skill set and a history of high performance to support the work of the Utility. Come be part of a team focused on turning waste streams into resources and protecting public health and the environment. This position is responsible for providing project and administrative services for staff supporting diverse, high-profile projects in the Construction Management Unit. This position may also occasionally support staff in other work units within the Project Planning and Delivery Section. WORK LOCATION: King Street Center and at multiple construction management offices located in Renton, Woodinville and Seattle, with travel required to other WTD locations throughout King and South Snohomish County. WORK SCHEDULE: This full-time position is eligible for overtime compensation. Develop or manage application solutions including workflows in SharePoint or other add-on applications to optimize management of contract and project records. Perform coordination efforts with each of the WTD Construction Management offices and develop consistent and efficient processes for management of contract records. Streamline existing records management systems for the WTD Construction Management Unit to ensure compliance with required construction contract documents and records, and WTD and County procedures. Develop and provide training materials and user demonstrations to project team's members. Manage user permissions and access to each project SharePoint site. Develop and implement a QA/QC program for inspections of contract records. Collaborate with users on system refinements to improve effectiveness and efficiency of each site. Provide troubleshooting and assistance to project team members use of SharePoint sites. Provide Contractors with initial SharePoint training and limited support for the duration of the construction contract. Establish system for archiving that's compatible with KC system and is in compliance with State / Federal (grant) requirements. Establish process for public disclosure response that is in compliance with KC WTD and KC PAO The successful candidates will demonstrate the following competencies: Action Oriented - Enjoys working hard; is action oriented and full of energy for the things he/she sees as challenging; not fearful of acting with a minimum of planning; seizes more opportunities than others. The ideal candidate should have: Four (4) years of process management of administrative records experience. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to manage SharePoint sites at an administrator/developer level. Some tasks including setting up sites, defining user access and building workflows. Record of successful change management. Understanding of user roles/responsibilities and the importance of requesting input and providing notifications of upcoming change. Strong process skills. Client development experience. Ability to understand and evaluate work process and build SharePoint applications to automate these work processes. Ability to resolve conflicts within the team. Ability to work with a diverse group of people. Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. The successful candidate will need to provide a complete 5-year driving abstract prior to a final job offer. HIGHLY DESIRABLE: Experience in managing construction documents.
