Job Description and Duties PARK INTERPRETIVE SPECIALIST (SEASONAL) - BAY AREA DISTRICT / SAMUEL P TAYLOR STATE PARK Priority consideration will be given to any person receiving State public assistance under the CalWORKS program. Sonoma County (Coastal Valleys EMS) accreditation as a paramedic is required within three months of hire. CSMF Firefighter 1 certification or FF1 Academy completion required. Education : Equivalent to graduation from high school. Experience : Must be currently employed as a paid, full-time firefighter with at least one year experience in that capacity. Required Licenses/Certifications Must possess a valid California Class C driver license. Must obtain a valid California Class C driver license with a Firefighter Endorsement or higher within 36 months of hire. Current certification as a Paramedic in advanced life support, either through the National Registry Paramedic or State of California. Must maintain local certification requirements. Accreditation in the County of Sonoma as an EMT-Paramedic within three months of date of hire. Assist in installing or repairing water, recycled, sewer, stormwater collection, and transmission facilities and equipment. Locate and repair leaks in the City sanitary sewer and stormwater systems; operate the camera van to locate broken and cracked sewer lines, and make necessary repairs; operate power routing and vacuum machines to clear line blockages. Replace and repair concrete and asphalt after repairs are completed. Maintain cleanliness and stock of the parts room and yard; order supplies as needed. Assist in such activities as pump repair, facility remodeling, and painting, including spray painting.
