City of Baytown

Welcome to the City of Baytown.

Located just east of Houston (4th largest city in the US), Baytown is fast becoming a prime choice for new residents as well industry.  With an eye towards the environment Baytown has strived to provide natural habitats for birds and sea life native to the area such as the reclaimed land at the Baytown Nature Center.  Baytown is also home to the world famous Houston Raceway Park.

Area recreational attractions include Evergreen Point Golf Course, Space Center Houston and Galveston Island. just to name a few.  Shopping areas include the San Jacinto Mall and a wide variety of shopping centers. Industrial parks such as Cedar Crossing in the Baytown Area/West Chambers County Economic Development Zone offer industry easy access to railheads, sea ports (Port of Houston) and trucking routes (I10/I45).
