The Cordova Recreation and Park District is an independent special district located in the eastern part of Sacramento County. The District provides parks and recreation services for several unincorporated communities and the recently incorporated city of Rancho Cordova. The District is a 74 square mile area with a population of 115,000. The District is governed by a five-member elected Board of Directors and managed by the District Administrator/CEO.
