For example, Miramar’s Master Park Plan includes 27 parks and outdoor sports complexes, complete with a dozen public baseball/softball diamonds and numerous football/soccer fields... plus basketball, tennis, volleyball, and more.

For working parents we provide our highly acclaimed S.T.A.R. (Supervised Time Afternoon Recreation) Program, with sports, arts and crafts, movies, homework time, special events and more.

Of course, we haven’t forgotten our more mature residents; the Miramar Senior Center offers a wide variety of classes and activities for them, including crafts, mah-jongg, bingo, day trips, and picnics, to name just a few.

Our Community Standards Division has successfully maintained adherence to City ordinances for the safety of our citizens and the aesthetics of the community. The results are improved property values, safe housing, beautiful new developments, and increased community pride.
