THE POSITION With supervisor approval, incumbents may be eligible for intermittent remote work; however, they must physically reside within the Sacramento region or have the ability to regularly report to a City of Sacramento physical worksite with little notice. This position will be part of the Engineering Services Division which is responsible for delivering complex capital improvement projects for new and infill transportation infrastructure throughout the City. This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in the following program: Rural Regional Center (RRC) and will underfill for the Developmental Specialist 3. Incumbents will apply a solution-based mindset that quickly identifies potential roadblocks, manages, and resolves conflicts, grievances, confrontations, or disagreements, develop, and propose person centered solutions, resolve unique or challenging situations, and confer with management for implementation as needed. Developmental Specialists may be assigned to one of many specialized programs and facilities, and duties may be performed in the home, clinic, hospital, residential, outpatient, and community facilities, or similar settings.
