Summary

The Snohomish Health District has 1 opening for a Finance Manager in our Administrative Services Division. Under direction of the Administrative Services Director, the Finance Manager provides direct oversight of the Finance Office staff function by overseeing, coordinating and participating in the various accounting and financial related functions including grants and contracts, accounts receivables, payables, billings, payroll review, accounting, financial reporting, budget preparation, monitoring and execution, and purchasing. This position is the agency expert in financial management and advises executive leadership in strategic and performance management and risk reduction strategies concerning finance related issues.

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a closely-related field; and six (6) years progressively responsible work experience in a public sector agency, with at least four (4) years in a supervisor capacity. OR, any combination of education and experience which demonstrated competency.
  2. Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO); Certified Public Accountant (CPA); or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM).
