COMMERCIAL AND REVENUE DEVELOPMENT DIVISION The Commercial and Revenue Development Division is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all commercial real property contracts, licenses, and leases at John Wayne Airport (SNA) including concession analysis, planning, and leasing to enhance commercial revenue for the Airport. The Position Staff Specialists in the Right-of-Way Division of the Department of Transportation participate in developing, formulating, and coordinating statewide programs, policies and procedures related to areas such as acquisition, relocation assistance, appraisal, property management, utilities/railroad relocation, and occupancy permits. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform advanced-level work and may provide work direction and training to others. This position is located within the Right-of-Way Division, Carson City. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the Division's compliance with Federal and State codes, statutes and regulations by researching, evaluating and interpreting these statutes related to assigned program areas. They may serve as a member of committees or review boards to develop recommendations for action. They also develop, recommend and implement policies and procedures in order to maintain Department's compliance and update the Right-of-Way Manual.
