THE POSITION The Fleet Services Manager is responsible for the operations and financial status of the Fleet Services Bureau and the Fleet Fund. In addition, the City’s 16 fueling facilities are also managed by the Fleet Services Bureau. Manages the activities of staff to implement data management standards and product deliverables; typical deliverables are the productions of maps, applications, reports, analyzations of data, and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders. Assesses static and analytical data for Public Works and City use in establishing data standards for the Public Works Department and other entities that access Public Works datasets. Work is performed under the general supervision of the City Surveyor. Work is reviewed upon completion through conferences, oral reports, written reports, and evaluation of results obtained.
