In Charge of cleaning the whole facility, pick up trash outside, empty trash within counselor offices and report and follow up work orders. Incumbents provide direct supervision to Family Services Specialists on a daily basis and are responsible for overseeing a major program. With ninety-four allocated employees who work in five locations throughout Stanislaus County, SCWD prepares individuals for jobs that are in demand by local businesses and provides businesses with referrals of qualified job applicants. Administration, which includes the Human Resources/Safety, Facilities, Finance/Operations, Contracts & Planning, Marketing and Information Technology divisions, supports the day-to-day program activities of the Department. Support activities include accounting, audits, employee and participant payroll processing, State reporting, grant billing, budgeting, contract management/monitoring, legislative analysis and implementation, equipment management, data imaging, website management and inventory control. The Business Services Division markets resources available to employers through Workforce Development. These include services such as identifying and hiring qualified candidates, aligning training opportunities to meet the needs of employers and jobseekers, and working with employers to identify work-based learning opportunities. Position Description Under direct supervision, to assist with environmental sanitation studies, inspections and investigations; to prevent or eliminate environmental sanitation health hazards; and to do related work as required.
