Job Description and Duties This position will assist California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA) Deputy Secretary for Environmental Policy & Housing in coordinating and advancing statewide transportation policy in alignment with the administration’s climate goals. CalSTA is responsible for working with partner agencies and departments to implement the Climate Action Plan for Transportation Infrastructure (CAPTI), in order to implement Executive Order N-19-19 and Executive Order N-79-20, which direct CalSTA to leverage transportation investments to meet our climate mitigation and adaptation goals. CalSTA is also responsible for coordination of a Housing & Transportation Working Group with the Business Consumer Services & Housing Agency (BCSH).
