Salary: $58,380 - $87,320 per yr USD
Information Technology (IT) Professionals analyze, develop, implement, maintain, and modify computer operations, systems, networks, databases, applications, and/or information security. Incumbents may perform duties in one or more IT specialization areas depending on the needs of the agency. Incumbents perform journey level duties and may serve as a lead worker to lower level IT staff as assigned. The incumbent will translate business needs and questions into technical solutions within the Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) using Business Intelligence (BI) tools and industry standards and best practices to create report and query objects. The incumbent will be the liaison between the business organization and the BI technology team. Duties include: IT project planning, documentation and status reports; performing systems business process analysis and developing related documentation and recommendations; establishing relationships with internal and external staff, stakeholders and vendors; developing training materials; and coordinating and delivering various levels of training.
