Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC)is recruiting forDietitianswho perform nutritional assessments on inpatients and outpatients. Duties include developing and implementing nutritional care plans based on physician ordered consultations and patients' preferences; formulating specialized diets; interviewing individuals or groups with special nutritional needs; and instructing and educating patients in proper dietary practices. Dietitians also serve as an educational resource to nursing staff, physicians, food services staff, interns, students, and other medical personnel on various nutritional topics.

ARMC, which is owned and operated by the Countyof San Bernardino, is a state-of-the-art 456 bed university-affiliated, teachingmedical center featuring the newest technology in the field of patient care. ARMC, is host to a 24-hour Emergency Department providing more than 90,000 annual visits, a Level II Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons, a Regional Burn Center, Behavioral Health Services, Outpatient Specialty Clinics and fivePrimary Care Family Health Centers (FHC). The FHCs offer comprehensive primary care medical services to individuals and families of all age groups. The FHCs are staffed with experienced attending physicians and resident physicians from the Medical Center. ARMC is a Primary Stroke Center and hasa Baby Friendly designation from Baby-Friendly USA with over2800 births per year. The Neonatal Intensive Care is a30 bed Community California Children's Services certified unit.
Registration: Must possess and maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registrationas aRegistered Dietitian.
Prior experience as a Dietitian in an acute care hospital is preferred. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and cross train in different clinical areas and the ability to work through problems, provide solutions and recommend improvements. Additionally, the candidate must be able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary health care team to provide instructions and appropriate nutritional care to patients,their families, caregivers, and the public.
