The Job



Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Occupational Therapists II who perform a wide variety of individual therapy programs for the occupational rehabilitation of patients.Duties include assessing, planning and implementing physical, socio- cultural and self-care programs; observing and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment, suggesting treatment changes and conferring with physicians and other staff regarding patients' treatment and progress; teaching daily living skills such as muscle re-education, hygiene, nutrition, communication and problem solving witheducational subjects directed at restoring and maintaining the patient's highest level of functioning. The immediate vacancy is in ARMC'sRehabilitation Services Department; however, the resulting list will be used to fill future vacancies in the medical center as they occur.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must possess all of the following:

License:
Must possess and maintain a valid Occupational Therapy license issued by the Department of Consumer Affairs (California Board of Occupational Therapy).

Experience:One (1)year of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Certification: Must possess and maintain Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
