The role of the tutor is to change students' thinking and clarify course material during individual and group tutorial sessions. Tutors will provide both individual and group tutoring to student-athletes.

Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary upon appointment not expected to exceed $20.27 per hour. CSU Classification Salary Range: $20.27 - $24.80 per hour. Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department's fiscal resources.

This salary range is inclusive of the CSU/CSUEU collective bargaining agreement (CBA) provision that per diem employees hired on an hourly/intermittent basis receive an additional 29% above the regular hourly base rate.
