Salary: $55,958 - $83,395 per yr USD
Mental Health Counselors provide counseling, case management, direct clinical services, community and home based services, and behavioral and human services to mentally ill, developmentally disabled and/or emotionally disturbed clients in an outpatient, residential, community or similar setting. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. This position is located at Lovelock Correctional Center (LCC), in Lovelock, Nevada. The incumbent provides psychological services to inmates in a correctional setting. Travel to Carson City may be required. Under general supervision, Mental Health Counselor II's perform a variety of duties including clinical care, community services and/or supervision of a limited number of paraprofessional and support staff.
