Geographic Locations: Las Vegas, Nevada Approximate Annual Salary: The approximate annual salary range starts at $151,017. Salary range reflects retirement (PERS) contributions by the employer, to the employer- based contribution plan. Position Description: Under the administrative direction of the Medical Director, for the Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) the incumbent for this position is responsible for establishing and administering a comprehensive institutional dental health program. This position is in the Southern Las Vegas area. This is an open competitive recruitment and open to all qualified applicants. The clinical performance of professional activities in the administration of individual treatments of dental problems and issues affecting the institutional population. Minimum Qualifications: A valid license to practice dentistry from the Nevada State Board of Dental Examiners and either: 1) certification as a diplomat by the American Board of Periodontology or Endodontics; or 2) a fellowship or mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD); or 3) three years of professional dentistry experience in a correctional or comparable setting.
