One year of full-time, paid experience employed by the County of Sacramento in the class of Maintenance Worker or above performing duties which include the maintenance, repair, construction, and/or operation of water and/or wastewater distribution systems, water and/or wastewater treatment facilities, bridges or roads. Or: 2. Completion of 60 semester units or more (or 90 quarter units or more) at an accredited trade school, junior college, or university with a minimum of 30 semester units (or 45 quarter units) in mechanical-electrical technology, construction management, civil engineering, or other field closely related to the intent of the class. Or: 3. Completion of two (2) years of an apprenticeship program as a plumber. Or: 4. Sick leave is accrued at 3.69 hours for each full 80 hours of payroll period. 60 hours of sick leave can be used for immediate family, parent spouse, child or sibling.
