Provides supervision and guidance to maintenance field staff, scheduling workloads, training, and assisting with daily maintenance and repairs of facilities, grounds, and equipment. Operates and maintains various types of equipment, including hand and power tools, mowers, tractors, and trucks. Performs daily routine cleaning of facilities and grounds. Responsible for purchasing materials and supplies. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned. Complies with all Agency, Division and Branch rules, regulations and procedures. Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduation from High School or GED. Experience: Five years of facility, equipment, or grounds maintenance experience. Three years experience as a supervisor or team leader, which may include oversight of paid staff, volunteers, or alternative workforces. NOTE: Experience may have occurred concurrently. Licensure: Applicant must possess a valid State driver's license.
