The successful candidate will need to organize and prioritize the traffic office workload and provide training and guidance for the staff engineers. The traffic office is responsible for the review of traffic control plans for permits and contracts, reviews for traffic impact studies, develop and administer district contracts, review of NDOT plans and specifications, review public requests. The traffic office will also perform speed studies, traffic counts, sight distance studies, work with local events to develop traffic operation plans.
