Assists primary care providers at Partnership Health Center with the management of clients with mental illness. Telecommute is an option in this position.

Representative Examples of Work

Provides adult psychiatric and medication evaluations, prescription services and medication education through routine medication clinics.

Participates in clinical staffing meetings to provide recommendations for treatment interventions and treatment plan implementations for clients.

Maintains clinical records.

Works closely with the medical providers, behavioral health team and the pharmacy team to track adherence and client's response to psychiatric medications.

Reviews quarterly reports on targeted performance indicators, quality measures and health outcomes to the Medical Director who serves on the Performance Improvement Committee.

Provides training for support and clinical personnel.

Performs related duties as required or directed.

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION: Requires Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and a license to practice in the State of Montana. Requires current certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. Requires proof of current prescriptive authority.

EXPERIENCE: Requires at least one year of experience in a clinical or mental health setting.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Requires immunizations or proof of immunity to certain infectious diseases and a TB test.

Physical/Environmental Demands

Works primarily in an office type setting. Requires some evening and weekend work. The employee may risk exposure to communicable diseases.
