Clinical Social Workers provide clinical services to clients/inmates in a residential, home, inpatient, outpatient, rehabilitation, correctional or similar setting.
This recruitment may be used to fill multiple positions located at Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (NNAMHS), Outpatient Services in Sparks, Nevada. This program is designed to deliver comprehensive community-based treatment to individuals with persistent and serious mental illness with a goal of preventing harmful outcomes such as relapse resulting in hospitalization, incarceration, or trauma; supporting individuals in maintaining stability and achieving personal goals; and assisting individuals to attain positive relationships with family, friends, and other natural supports.
The incumbents will serve as a first-line supervisor who trains, supervises, and evaluates the performance of assigned staff; assigns and reviews work; and initiates disciplinary action OR functions as a manager who trains, supervises, and evaluates the performance of subordinate supervisors; develops policies and procedures; and allocates staff and resources to accomplish goals and objectives according to the needs of the hiring agency.

Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker by the Board of Examiners for Social Workers, and one year of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting. The Examination Application Evaluation Exam
