Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (NNAMHS) in Sparks, NV is recruiting for an Outpatient Mental Health Counselor 1 underfilling a Mental Health Counselor 2. Mental Health Counselors at NNAMHS operate as members of interdisciplinary teams to provide individual and group counseling, clinical evaluations, behavioral consultations, program development, community and home-based services to adults with a serious mental illness. The position requires licensure in Nevada as a Clinical Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker or Marriage and Family Therapist issued at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment. NNAMHS provides continual on-going training and education to our staff, including paid release time for attending trainings and the availability of on-site CEU's.
