Two full-time positions available with KC Water Meter Field Services Division located at 4800 E 63rd Street.
Salary Range: $16.05 - $24.31/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Sunday-Thursday, 12:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. or Saturday-Wednesday, 4:00 P.M. to 12:00 A.M.

This position is responsible for dispatching work orders and requests for service to field crews by radio and telephone that are reported through the dispatch office and assuring that all emergencies are reported to the proper personnel by performing the following duties: Relays work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and field inspectors. Demonstrates working knowledge of other City department procedures in regards to after-hour services for Animal Control, Park & Recreation-Tree service, Health Department, Public Works-Street & Traffic, Tow Lot, and Solid Waste operations. Maintains daily log of work orders, messages, and reports received and relayed. Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIRES high school graduation and 2 years experience in the operation of radio transmitting and receiving equipment . Must pass a pre-employment drug screen as prescribed by the City.
