This position will be part of the Engineering Services Division which is responsible for delivering complex capital improvement projects for new and infill transportation infrastructure throughout the City. This position will be responsible for leading professional and technical personnel in the design delivery of transportation and civil infrastructure capital improvement projects in the public right-of-way as stand alone, or as part of a larger transportation design projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing and overseeing the project delivery and project development process for transportation and mobility infrastructure projects in the City right-of-way. This includes the development of feasibility studies, preliminary engineering/environmental documentation, preparation of plans, specifications and estimates, construction contract administration and oversight during construction of public works and capital improvement projects and programs.
