The Associate Dean ensures that the CSU Executive Orders describing disciplinary procedures are administered in a fair, impartial manner and applies these procedures to maintain the integrity and safety of the university community. Specific duties include, but are not limited to investigating, processing, and resolving alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct (section 41301 of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations), and University policies including allegations of academic dishonesty as defined by the University's Academic Honesty Policy. The Associate Dean is also responsible for the sanctioning process of violations of Title IX and overseeing the hearing process for Sexual Misconduct allegations in conjunction with Human Resources Management.
