Performs professional level analysis and control functions in area of assignment.

Major/Essential Functions

Performs financial analysis and control work pertaining to the preparation and execution of the TTUHSC operating budget and related activities. This position will process personnel action forms, calculate funding requirements, analyze budgets and maintain base salary information. Position will test the Banner System and Budget related systems as well as training department users on Budget related systems.

Occasional Duties

This position will be responsible for preparing periodic and special reports. The position will also be involved in the preparation for the Annual Operating Budget.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field. Three (3) years related experience; OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal seven years.

Preferred Qualifications

The incumbent should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with at least 9 hours of Accounting. Responsible work experience in an institution of higher education may substitute for degree. Five years of experience in governmental or financial management work with experience in institutions of higher education highly desirable. Working knowledge of Budget and Human Resource processing is preferred.
