The Job



Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager who can provide strong leadership and oversight for the Patient Accounts department. The Revenue Cycle Manager will manage a staff responsible for account receivables and making sure claims, denials, and appeals are efficiently processed. The Revenue Cycle Manager will maintain and report operational benchmarks and key performance indicators and will manage process improvement. The incumbent will also be responsible for resolving staff and patient complaints while creating a positive work environment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Vaccination Requirements: On December 24, 2021, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) updated the Public Health Officer Orders regarding COVID-19 vaccination requirements to include the COVID-19 vaccine booster. This impacts workers in health care settings within hospitals, high-risk congregate settings, and other health care settings. Workers in health care settings are to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
In addition, CDPH Public Health Officer Orders now requires all workers in health care settings currently eligible for boosters, who provide services or work in the impacted facilities must be "fully vaccinated and boosted" for COVID-19 by February 1, 2022.
New hires who are not yet eligible for boosters must be in compliance no later than 15 days after the recommended timeframe as outlined in the table below.

Vaccination Exemptions
Upon hire, candidates will be required to submit proof of vaccination including the booster dose or request an exemption from the vaccination and booster requirements based on either religious belief or medical reasons.

COVID-19 Testing Requirements
Workers in impacted health care facilities who are not "fully vaccinated and boosted" are required to submit to COVID-19 testing either once or twice per week to meet testing requirements.
1) Background: Applicant must successfully pass a background check prior to appointment.
2) Travel: Travel throughout the County may be required. A valid California Class C driver license is required at time of appointment.

Minimum Requirements

Education: A Bachelor's degree in public/business administration, accounting, finance, or a closely related field.

--AND--

Experience: Three (3) years of full-time equivalent administrative or management experience in the areas of revenue cycle, budget, operational/organizational analysis, grant administration, fiscal analysis, and/or program planning, development and administration. Experience must include at least one (1) year of full scope supervisory experience.

Substitution: Possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, business administration, or a closely related field to the assignment may substitute for one year of the required non-supervisory experience.

Desired Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of Revenue Cycle experience in a hospital or ambulatory care systems, which included responsibility for, and participation in, financial or revenue cycle management including patient access, financial services and budget maintenance.
