Description This position plans, and coordinates a wide variety of maintenance, repairs, and special projects within the Charleston County Facilities Management Department, at the direction of the Facility Supervisor . Typical duties include, but are not limited to, the repair, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry. Under supervision, the Instrumentation Technician II performs a variety of complex assignments in the installation, maintenance, and calibration of process control instrumentation and related equipment. The Instrumentation Technician II identifies, isolates, and diagnoses failures using various types of test equipment; interprets schematic and loop drawings; and coordinates repairs with other divisions as necessary.
