Description This is a part-time, at-will position exempt from the classified service. This position will work a varied schedule of hours including nights, holidays and weekends. The Senior Video Technician II will be utilized on an on-call as-needed basis, dependent upon the needs of the City to cover various events. Under general supervision, this position performs a variety of technical duties including live and taped video production for City programs, meetings and events, camera operation, non-linear editing, writing for productions, and related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in television or video production that includes experience editing in a formal post-production environment. Experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro is highly desirable. Education: Associate of Art degree. License/Certificates: Due to the performance of some field duties which requires the operation of a personal or City vehicle, valid and appropriate California driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. Description This is a part-time, at-will position exempt from the classified service. This position will work a varied schedule of hours including nights, holidays and weekends. The Senior Video Technician II will be utilized on an on-call as-needed basis, dependent upon the needs of the City to cover various events.
