MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EITHER PATTERN I Experience : One year as a Geographic Information Systems Specialist I in San Joaquin County. OR PATTERN II Education : Completion of 60 semester (or 90 quarter) units at an accredited college with major course work in computer science, information systems, economics, engineering, architecture, environmental science, mathematics, business administration or a related field including at least 24 units in computer science. Experience : Two years of increasingly responsible experience providing technical support in a geographic information systems environment. Substitution #1 : Possession of an approved information systems technology certificate, or completion of an approved information systems training course may substitute for all of part of the above required education.
