Library Building Management, as a department, manages: the physical plant of the Meriam Library complex (Facility Operations); the Library Student Employment unit and the Stack Operations unit. The Assistant Facility Operations Coordinator is the evening lead of Stack Operations; supports the Library Student Personnel and Facility Operations Coordinator (F.O.C.) in all functions within Library Student Employment and its three sub-units (Student Personnel, Student Payroll, and Student Budget); and collaborates with the F.O.C. on a wide variety of responsibilities with the Facilities Operations unit. Further, the Assistant Facility Operations Coordinator serves as the Night and Weekend lead, overseeing all library service operations up to 30 hours per week when no other library staff or faculty are present. Required Education and Experience:
- Experience coordinating with an HR department to perform basic personnel and budget duties.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an environment requiring constant communication with staff, student employees, and library patrons.
The qualifications listed above would normally be obtained through completion of a high school program, or equivalent certification. AND
Four years of related Library experience.OR
An equivalent combination of experience and education. Time Base:
12/12 Work Schedule: This position is for a Night and Weekend lead and will have a non-traditional work schedule.
Sunday - Thursday 3pm-midnight (semester weeks)
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (non-summer/non-semester weeks)
Monday - Thursday 7am-5:30pm (summer weeks) Salary and Benefits Information:
$3,528 - $6,505 per month / $42,336 - $78,060 annually (New employees should anticipate being hired at the beginning of the salary range)
