Duties Description DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Park Manager, the incumbent will assist with various duties specific to assisting park management with administrative and auditing functions. Duties include, but are not limited to: •Enter and process revenue and attendance data; •Update payroll and purchasing expenditures; •Process and issue permits; •Cash handling; •Utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Teams, Aspira, and other web-based programs; •Answer phones, process mail and filing; •Provide customer service including registering overnight patrons and collecting park tolls when needed; •Perform audits; •The incumbent may perform other park-related duties as assigned, such as refuse removal, cleaning structures, and snow removal. Additional Comments OPERATING NEEDS: • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that allows the candidate to legally operate a motor vehicle in New York State as a term and condition of employment. • Must have discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality. • Must be able to follow written direction, as well as record and document required information. • Must be able to communicate effectively with park and administrative staff. • Must possess good organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to multi-task. • Must have great computer knowledge in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, and Excel and have familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
