The Electronic Repair Shop Technician will perform skilled troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and modification to a variety of electronic controlled equipment found in revenue and non-revenue vehicles. The incumbent for this position will know the operating principles of analog and digital electronics, electrical and electronic circuitry, and associated mechanical mechanisms that may be associated with their control. They will have experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and programming of electronic micro-processing systems. Advanced skills in troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques are required. The incumbent will understand the methods, equipment, and materials used in the repair of a variety of electronic and electromechanical systems, components, and equipment.
