Senior Psychiatric Technician (Safety)
$79,236 - $96,360 Annual Range
As shift supervisor, the Senior Psychiatric Technician (Safety) supervises, trains, and evaluates a group of Psychiatric Technicians (Safety) and other assigned staff engaged in custody activities and basic behavioral and nursing care; may also be assigned to especially difficult or complex duties where the only supervision exercised is over patients or inmates, such as directing or monitoring patient or inmate activities in a therapy program; and does other related work.
Pursuant to the updated Public Health Order (CDPH) and current federal guidelines, all staff assigned to this post/position may be required to show evidence of full vaccination and booster for COVID-19, absent an approved reasonable medical or religious accommodation precluding them from vaccination.
