Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Angiography/Interventional Radiologic Technologists I/II who assist with inpatients, outpatients and emergency department patients receiving all procedures and processes relating to the many service lines, such as, ANGIO, IR, Vascular, Trauma, Cardiac, Neurology, Urology, and Hematology.

Annual Salary: $62,587.20 - $84,011.20 Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist II
Annual Salary: $75,150.40 - $103,480.00

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER

ARMC, which is owned and operated by San Bernardino County, is a state-of-the-art 456 bed university-affiliated teaching medical center featuring the newest in technology in the field of patient care. ARMC is host to a 24-hour Emergency Department providing more than 90,000 annual visits, a Level I Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons, a Regional Burn Center, Behavioral Health Services, Outpatient Specialty Clinics and four Primary Care Family Health Centers (FHC). The FHCs offer comprehensive primary care medical services to individuals and families of all age groups. The FHCs are staffed with experienced attending physicians and resident physicians from the Medical Center. ARMC is a Primary Stroke Center and has a Baby Friendly designation from Baby-Friendly USA with over 2800 births per year. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided.

Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.

On-call Schedule: Employees assigned to ARMC Critical On-call duty shall be required to (1) leave a telephone number where they can be reached or wear a communicating device; (2) return a call or text as soon as practicable but not to exceed five (5) minutes; and, (3) after being told to report to work, the employee shall arrive at his/her work station as practicable, but not to exceed thirty (30) minutes. Employees assigned to ARMC Critical On-Call shall receive compensation at the rate of $5.15 for each full hour of critical on-call duty. Critical On-call time shall not count as hours worked. Please refer to the MOU for additional details and compensation (Page 119-120).

Certification : Applicants chosen for this position must possess a valid Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire.

Vaccination Requirement: Per the December 24, 2021 updated CA State Public Health Officer Order, all workers who provide services or work in facilities described in subdivision (a) of the order, including clinics and doctor offices, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. In addition, CDPH Public Health Officer Orders updated on February 22, 2022 requires all workers in health care settings currently eligible for boosters, who provide services or work in the impacted facilities must be "fully vaccinated and boosted" for COVID-19 by March 1, 2022. Vaccination Exemptions: Upon hire, candidates will be required to submit proof of vaccination including the booster dose or request an exemption from the vaccination and booster requirements based on either religious belief or medical reasons

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must possess each of the following:

Certification:
  • Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist
  • CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health
Registration:
  • Must possess registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
Experience:
  • Special Procedures RT I: No experience Required (Trainee level)
  • Special Procedures RT II: One (1) year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist -OR- six (6) months of supervised Angiography clinical experience.
