Factors that contribute to complexity include, but are not limited to, federal grant reporting, external bank accounts, cost allocation plans, budget accounts, bank guidelines other than those contained in the State Administrative Manual, enterprise accounting, complex fund accounting, and external reporting requirements. Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation. OR Incumbents perform basic tasks or elements of the job not requiring the additional knowledge, skills and abilities to perform at the next level in the series. This position is located within the Equipment Division, Sparks. Incumbent is responsible for reviewing and approving purchase orders; assisting Financial Management with annual projected budget costs for non-rental equipment; procures non-rental purchases via Integrated Financial System (IFS). This position also supervises the Equipment Division's administrative support staff, monitoring productivity, reviewing work and evaluating performance. Incumbent also serves as Notary Public for NDOT's Equipment Division.
