$194.91 - $258.44 Per Day
Under the general direction of the Receiver’s Medical Executive, the Optometrist, Correctional Facility, conducts examinations of the eye using observation and instruments to determine visual acuity and perception, focus, and coordination to diagnose diseases and other abnormalities for the patient. Maintains order and supervises the conduct of inmates and protects and maintains the safety of persons and property.
**This position will serve as an Optometrist for up to two institutions (California Institution for Women/California Correctional Rehabilitation Center) within 10 miles driving distance.**
This position is Permanent Full Time - 1/2 time (.50) at CIW and 1/2 time (.50) at CRC, working 40 hours per week.
