Position Description
Licensed Professional Engineers provide professional services involving the application of engineering principles and data, or activities in connection with public or private utilities, structures, buildings, machines, equipment or projects impacting the public welfare or the safeguarding of life, health or property.
The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection is recruiting for a Professional Engineer within the Compliance Branch of the Bureau of Air Pollution Control in Carson City. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing reports and stack testing data from facilities, inspecting facilities and records, communicating with facilities to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and drafting compliance orders to amend permit requirements.
Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training.
