CURRENT ASSIGNMENT The BART Train Control Construction Team is seeking highly motivated and an exceptionally innovative Special Project Manager (SPM) to work with our partners, within BART, and Contractors performing construction work, testing, commissioning, etc. The SPM will be part of the team that is responsible for ensuring the quality delivery of a project that is safe, reliable, innovative, cost effective, and sustainable. The SPM should be experienced with major capital projects and with a track record of stakeholder engagement. We are seeking additions to a team of dedicated professionals who understand the impact of important projects with the BART system. In addition to the minimum qualifications, the ideal candidate demonstrates skills and experience in three or more of the following areas: Safety and security certification through the lifecycle of a project, including preliminary hazard analysis (PHA), design criteria conformance, construction specifications conformance, testing requirements, and operational readiness.
