The Innovation and Technology Department (ITD)
is accepting applications for Senior Systems Analyst - GIS and Data Systems*.
This position will work in the Enterprise Infrastructure Division supporting the County's enterprise IT infrastructure. This position has extensive knowledge and expertise to support multiple enterprise level systems. The incumbent assumes a countywide role, providing knowledge and leadership in supporting the County's Enterprise Data Infrastructure, which includes the county's Geographic Information System (GIS) and Microsoft based Data Infrastructure.

Travel throughout the county may be required. A valid California Class C driver's license will be required at the time of hire.Minimum Requirements REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years of work experience, within the past five (5) years, performing systems administration at the enterprise level. Experience must include two (2) of the following:
-AND- REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Administration and maintenance of Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
- Administration and maintenance of Enterprise Database Systems (MSSQL or Oracle)
- Administration and maintenance of Microsoft Azure
- Administration and maintenance of Microsoft Power BI Report Server or IBM Cognos Analytics.
- Administration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server Operating System
- High Availability/Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity as they relate to system administration.
Thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed, post high-school coursework from an accredited university or technical school in Computer Information Systems, Business/Public Administration, or a closely related field. A list of coursework must be submitted with the application.
Substitution: An additional one (1) year of qualifying experience may substitute for 15 semester (23 quarter) units of the education requirement, up to 30 semester (45 quarter) units. Desired Qualifications

- Experience configuring, installing, and maintaining ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Experience configuring, installing, and maintaining Microsoft Power BI Report Server or IBM Cognos Analytics.
- Experience configuring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure Cloud-based Data Tools
- Ability to analyze complex server, storage, network and application issues to troubleshoot problems and make improvements.
- Work well in a collaborative team environment
- Be able to work on multiple projects and assignments at the same time in an organized manner.
