The applicant is also expected to teach courses in the General Networks area including introduction to networks, network administration, Internet of things, cloud computing, and database management. In addition, the applicant is expected to carry out sponsored research and projects involving students. The Aviation and Technology Department is the oldest department in the College of Engineering. The Department is the fastest growing department in the college attracting students at both freshman and transfer levels. The Department has an enrollment of over 800 students in its programs and enjoys having a strong relationship with local industry through continuous support of its Industry Advisory Boards.
