Salary Range : $4,389- $7,617/Monthly - Prorated accordingly (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range: $4,389 - $4,948.50/Monthly - Prorated accordingly)

Work Schedule : Part-Time, hours to be determined; temporary position, expires on or before one year from start date; may be extended; may become permanent; non-exempt classification.

Essential Functions : Under the general supervision of the School Director, and Department ASC II, the incumbent will be responsible for managing and coordinating with various School of Kinesiology faculty to assist with providing materials, supplies, equipment and logistical support to the delivery of physical activity programming, and report to a faculty member designated by the School Director. Other responsibilities include: coordinate checking out of equipment for labs and physical activities classes and maintenance of equipment; coordinate and assist department with events involving use or need of equipment; inventory and organization of equipment room; and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Experience : Equivalent to three years of experience providing instructional support services for a related unit or discipline, or in producing materials or supplies or repairing equipment in a discipline related to the area to which assigned; OR Equivalent to two years of college with 16 semester units in courses involving extensive use of materials, supplies, or equipment and in a discipline related to the area may be substituted for one year of the required experience; OR Equivalent to four years of college with 16 semester units in courses involving extensive use of materials, supplies, or equipment and in a discipline related to the area to which assigned may be substituted for two years of the required experience. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who may apply for the position.

Desired Qualifications : Experience in providing instructional support for Kinesiology courses such as labs and/or activity-based classes.
