The ideal candidate has a customer service mindset with excellent leadership and mentorship experience. A seasoned professional with the ability to communicate well both orally and in writing, during public presentations, in internal staff and City Council meetings is desired. Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in business administration, finance, accounting, or a related field along with six (6) years of increasingly responsible experience in accounting, financial management budgeting, or auditing work, including four (4) years in administrative and management responsibility. C.P.A certification or an advanced degree is highly desirable. Candidates must have possession of a valid California Class C driver's license.
The annual salary range for the Finance Director is $166,776 - $202,716; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
