This position will be located at the Northeast Regional Office, 1709 Prospect Drive, Macon, Missouri.
  • Schedule and conduct environmental inspections and investigations at permitted and unpermitted facilities in the Northeast Region.
  • Prepare documentation that is timely and accurate (reports, correspondence, photographs, data entry, and forms) and conduct follow-up work for timely compliance.
  • Perform monitoring and sampling, as needed.
  • Provide compliance and technical assistance to the regulated community, and general assistance to the public, on water pollution requirements, both in the office and onsite.
  • Conduct emergency response to situations that require immediate action, including outside regular work hours.
  • Perform other related work as assigned.

Equivalent to those typically gained by:
  • Preferred degree program would include the following: Environmental Science or Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Physical Science, Geology, Forestry, Soil Science, Ecology, Wildlife Management, Agriculture, Animal Science, Natural Resource Management, Soil Conservation, or a closely related field.
  • At least zero (0) to two (2) or more years of relevant experience.
