Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Position open to Clinical Case Worker, Sr. Clinical Case Worker and LCSW
Semi-Monthly Salaries range between $1,539.82 to $2,438.14

St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center provides specialized care for clients diagnosed with mental illness. We are looking for a positive and energetic candidate who has an interest in helping individuals with mental illness maximize their potential. The social worker will be responsible for maintaining a caseload of approximately 16 clients in Cottages 6 & 8 of the Social Learning Program. Responsibilities will include Case management services, individual and group therapy/psychoeducation, admission intakes and discharge coordination, along with other duties as assigned. This position is essential for monitoring the basic psychosocial needs of clients in the Social Learning Program and for facilitating discharges to the community. This is a program developed to treatment individuals who have profound deficits associated with severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual developmental disorders. Social Learning Program is a token-based economy that helps to develop skills that are necessary to live in the community.
Responsibilities :
• Conduct Social Service Assessments (Initial and/or Annual)
• Complete admission paperwork
• Provide individual and/or group treatment and complete corresponding documentation
• Complete Individual Treatment/Rehabilitation Plans (ITRP) and Treatment Reviews
• Write monthly progress/summary notes for clients
• Offer case management to assigned clients
• Conduct suicide risk and other risk assessments as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on a regular basis
• Participate in discharge and legal processes (e.g. guardianship) as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
Eligibility:

• Must have prior experience providing care for clients diagnosed with mental illness, substance use
disorders, personality disorders, and/or intellectual developmental disorders.
• Experience treating or working with individuals diagnosed with Antisocial or Narcissistic Personality
Disorder preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of the DSM, evidence-based practices, and best social work practices encouraged.
• Degree or License in Social Work (MSW, LMSW, or LCSW) preferred, but will consider candidates who
meet the minimum qualifications
• Willing to consider individuals who hold a BSW or related degree and are nearing completion of a
MSW degree. This individual would likely qualify as a Clinical Caseworker until completion of MSW
degree.
