To Whom It May Concern:

I was excited to come across your Business System Analyst for the City of Galveston as I feel as though I would be a great fit in the position. The city has always held a special place in my heart as it is home.

Throughout my time at Vermont Law and Graduate School, I received my Masters of Energy Law and Regulation with first-hand experience working at the Energy Clinic helping advise and lead clients to the transition of renewable energy while also helping to introduce them to tax incentives that drive the renewable sector further and help to reduce carbon emissions. It was also through one-on-one research with professors where I was able to gain a firm grasp on solar and wind site assessment and installation on and offshore. In doing so I have gained a great deal of public policy first hand experience which I feel makes me an excellent candidate.

In my undergraduate years is where I first began to develop a love for the maritime industry. It was at Texas A&M University Galveston where I began researching the transition to net zero while tying it into my maritime background to successful trade while looking towards the future of energy.  The international scope of maritime has provided me with the necessary skills to work in global diverse communities at high paces.

While attending Texas A&M University Galveston, I worked heavily in business administration, helping to support research and pursue possible opportunities to improve the student and faculty life. I worked heavily with the IT department along with being the technical support for my previous supervisor.

Thank you for your time and consideration,
